What Youll Do

Provide customer service to residents and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations at the residential location in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues. Observe and report any suspicious activities or potential hazards to Allied Universal and/or client representatives as required. Communicate professionally with residents, guests, and staff while upholding Allied Universal standards. Complete required reports and maintain accurate records regarding patrols, incidents, and observations. Assist with access control by monitoring entry points and/or verifying credentials as needed.

Minimum Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred. A valid guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
