My client is delivering a major multi-year heavy civil/marine infrastructure program in Hawai'i and is seeking an experienced procurement manager to lead all project-wide purchasing, sourcing, vendor management, and contract administration activities. This role oversees procurement strategy from planning through delivery, ensuring that all materials, equipment, and subcontracted services support project schedules, cost targets, and compliance requirements. This is a high-impact leadership position responsible for optimizing procurement performance on one of the most complex construction programs in the region.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Commerce, Economics, or related field.
1015 years of procurement management experience, ideally within heavy civil, marine, or large industrial construction.
CPP or similar professional designation preferred.
Familiarity with Hawai'i suppliers, distributors, and specialty contractors is a plus.
Strong understanding of procurement strategy, contract administration, cost controls, and scheduling impacts.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven leadership skills with experience managing procurement teams.
Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
Highly organized, self-directed, and able to manage competing priorities.
Ability to travel for supplier monitoring, audits, and performance evaluations.
Fluency in English required.
