General Labor / Maritime Insulator

Join our team to support essential shipyard operations across various contracts. Your role will primarily involve general labor tasks such as transporting materials, cleaning work areas, and assisting lead tradesmen in the general labor duties.

Responsibilities:

• Support shipyard operations across multiple contracts.
• Transport materials to and from work sites.
• Assist with the cleanup of work areas.
• Aid lead carpenters in removing and installing insulation on ships.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain DBIDS for base access at Pearl Harbor.
• Construction or carpentry experience preferred.
• Experience in mechanics, rigging, or electrical work is highly preferred.

Work Environment:

You will be working at a shipyard, performing physically demanding tasks often exposed to the elements. This is a full-time role with opportunities for overtime. While awaiting necessary clearances, you may work in the warehouse or assist with general labor in the shop.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract position based out of Honolulu, HI.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
