Job Description









As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Driver in Kailua, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help create a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.Respond to incidents and critical situations at the healthcare location in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and surrounding areas to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal procedures and client protocols.Assist staff, patients, and visitors by providing directions, information, and general assistance as needed while upholding site-specific protocols.Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and site staff to support a secure and welcoming environment at the healthcare location.Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
