Shipfitter

Fabricate and assemble structural parts of ships, including bulkheads, frames, and hulls. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine specifications and requirements. Perform welding, cutting, and shaping of metal components using various tools and equipment. Install and secure fittings, fixtures, and other components on ships and marine vessels. Inspect and test completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. 6 months - 1 year; Possible long term.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Half-hour lunch at 11:30 am to 12:00 noon.

Location: Kewalo Shipyard, Honolulu, HI.

Pay Range: $25.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
