Position: Assistant Property Manager

Location: Honolulu, HI

Pay: $25.90/hour

Experience: At least 2 years of experience in property management or related real estate operations.

Education: Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred, especially in business, real estate, or related field.

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM


Employers Options is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to join a growing and dynamic team!


Job Description:

  • Coordinate property operations, including maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
  • Communicate with tenants to address inquiries, complaints, and service requests.
  • Track rental payments, delinquencies, and assist with late payment notices.
  • Prepare and maintain lease documents, renewals, and terminations.
  • Conduct move-in and move-out inspections, documenting property conditions.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors, ensuring service quality and accurate billing.
  • Assist with property marketing, leasing, and applicant screening.
  • Support budget tracking and financial reporting for assigned properties.


Position Requirements:

  • Knowledge of property management laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proficiency with property management software and MS Office or Google tools.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel between properties as needed.
