PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
Review status of time entries in E360 and Heavy Jobs. Ensure hours input timely.
Work with operation if any question or error occurred.
Communicate with Operation when we start importing hours from HJ and E360.
Ensure the hours in vista match to the hours in HJ and E360.
Post Time entries and verify deduction and liability amount.
Submit payroll to payroll manager for review and approval.
Process ACH batch and printing live checks.
Submit check requests to AP.
Process Certified payroll report
Process monthly union reports
Keeps current with a comprehensive understanding of applicable union agreements and prevailing wage requirements to ensure accurate payroll processing.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Promote awareness of and follow Company and general safety policies.
Exhibits a core understanding of mutual respect and good customer service orientation in interactions with all people in the workplace
PRINCIPAL REQUIREMENTS:
Education High School Diploma, AS degree in Accounting is a plus but not required.
Experience 2 years payroll experience, preferably in the construction industry.
Computer Skills Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Email. Aptitude to learn in-house systems. Keyboarding skills sufficient to complete daily tasks in a timely manner. Experience with Sage 100 and Vista systems a plus.
Math Strong mathematical skills to produce accurate calculations for payroll.
Reading Good reading skills required.
Other Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Detail oriented and ability to observe confidentiality with sensitive information.
