Manager In Training (Mit)

Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina is seeking a Manager In Training (MIT) in the Rooms Division. We are looking for an individual with passion for excellence, articulate, confident, and have the ability to create unique guest experience environment and have an eye for detail. The position will report directly to the Director of Rooms.

The Manager In Training (MIT) will assist the Rooms Division leadership team (Housekeeping, Front Office, Guest Services) in the day to day running of the Rooms Operations. The MIT will work closely with the Director of Rooms on special projects and assignments and on maximize guest experience.

What You Will Do:

• Select, train, evaluate, lead, and motivate all employees, and supervisors in the Hotel's Rooms Division to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met.
• The ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts.
• Attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments.
• Observe physical conditions of facilities and equipment in the Housekeeping, Front Office, and Guest Services area and make recommendations for corrections.
• Innovative style to drive creativity and innovation in guest experience.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management or Travel Industry Management
• Must have excellent reading, writing, and verbal proficiency in the English language
• Must have good organizational skills. attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
• Must have ability to work holidays, weekdays, weekends, and possibly overnight shifts
• Able to negotiate, organize, delegate, manage, and work under pressure
• Must have computer literacy to with strong experience using Microsoft Applications
• Successful candidates must possess legal work authorization in the United States.
