Job Description

Do you have experience in the cross-section of military and data policy and governance? Imagine yourself working on a top-level, critical mission alongside other seasoned professionals. Parsons is now hiring a Policy and Governance Analyst with a passion for improving, documenting, and implementing data management processes.
Responsibilities
- Comfortably communicate with staff; collaborate with stakeholders to integrate policy considerations into project planning and execution
- Update and maintain policy, governance, and legal documentation (i.e. manuals, directives, etc.)
- Lead development and implementation of data and AI standards and procedures aligned with DoD requirements and industry best practices
- Explain complex, technically difficult information in an easily understood manner to technical and non-technical audiences
- Educate, mentor, and provide expert guidance on the interpretation and application of policy, governance, and legal requirements to ensure adherence to best practices and applicable standards
- Capable of intuitively solving complex problems, working independently, and with minimal guidance
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
Qualifications
- 5+ years relevant experience with a Bachelor's in a related field; will consider experience in lieu of degree
- 5+ years' experience working in a multi-skilled team environment collaborating on data or AI-related topics
- Possess a strong data analytics or computer science background; experience with big-data and AI/ML concepts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
Preferred Experience
- Prior military experience supporting US INDOPACOM activities
- Prior experience supporting a large team or Branch-level office
Security Clearance Requirement
An active Secret security clearance is required for this position. This position is part of our Federal Solutions team, which delivers resources to our U.S. government customers to ensure the success of missions around the globe.
Salary Range: $100,900.00 - $176,600.00
