Job Summary

KGMB (CBS), KHNL (NBC), and K5 are seeking a Streaming Executive Producer. Hawaii News Now is the state's dominant multimedia news organization. This person must be able to thrive in a fast‑paced, constantly changing environment. The successful candidate must be a self‑starter and must be able to develop and deliver original daily livestream programming.

Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will lead the streaming effort on all our digital platforms.
• We are looking for candidates with experience as a producer in a competitive news market, including working with talent and directors.
• Great communicators with natural leadership skills.
• Ability to sift through complicated issues and provide clarity to viewers and web users.
• Adaptive and creative thinking to break events.
• Strong multitasking skills to juggle many things at once.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience with ENPS and Edius editing is a plus.
• Experience producing special reports and breaking news will put a candidate ahead of others.
• A college degree in journalism or a related field is required.
• Must be able to work extra hours, holidays, etc.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
