$144,600.00/yr - $253,100.00/yr
We're seeking a Hawaii Water Market Practice Leader to support delivering world-class water and wastewater services for our municipal and private sector clients in Hawaii. As a Hawaii Water Market Practice Leader, you will work in collaboration with our Hawaii leadership team, Northwest Water Market Growth Director, and Water Market Director of Operations to develop and implement a water market growth strategy for Hawaii. This effort includes retaining and building a team of engineers and planners to deliver our clients' most challenging water and wastewater projects and to foster the growth of our Hawaii water team. You will also be responsible for understanding the unique trends in the market and using that knowledge to work with our team to create technical differentiation from that of our competitors while serving as an important conduit between our Global Market Solutions leaders, Northwest Sales leaders, and Operations (delivery) leadership and practice staff in our Water Business Unit. You'll lead and support business development activities with key clients resulting in acquisition of new projects as well as perform the role of Project Manager supporting various projects and programs within a defined client portfolio. You'll effectively lead and manage project teams throughout all phases of project planning, execution, and closeout; consistent with established project delivery processes to meet the scope, schedule, budget, and other specified requirements stated in each contract. As a key member, you'll have the chance to work on challenging projects as the Project Manager and Technical Lead—planning, directing, and monitoring all aspects of projects with high degrees of technical complexity from concept stage through detailed design, construction services, and commissioning. Among the many types of projects led by this team are pipelines, pump stations, water and wastewater treatment facilities, and water resources infrastructure. You will be leading a multidisciplinary team to complete tasks within established schedules and budgets and help advance our business development strategies. You will also have the opportunity to mentor and coach early and mid-career engineers and designers and be mentored by senior staff. You will play an integral role in leading and mentoring staff, forming long‑term relationships with clients and pursuing new work, including strategy development, positioning, proposing, and negotiating contracts.
Our commitment to you includes mentoring, training, and career development. Jacobs offers formal and informal mentoring programs, training in project management, safety, and technical topics, and a career path plan with regional leadership. Employees have access to medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance, a 401(k) plan, and the ability to purchase company stock at a discount. Eligible employees may also enroll in a deferred compensation plan or the Executive Deferral Plan. Jacobs has an unlimited U.S. Personalized Paid Time Off policy for full‑time salaried/exempt employees, seven paid holidays, one floating holiday, and caregiver leave. Certain roles may be eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, performance discretionary bonus, and stock.
All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status. The position was posted on November 11, 2025 and will be open for at least 3 days.
