Assist with coordinating and overseeing the daily fraud investigations workflow and fraud management functions assigned to the Fraud Management Associates. Responsible for ensuring fraud investigations are accurately and timely performed in accordance with established policies and procedures as well as adherence to governmental regulations. Ensures adequate coverage and general training of Fraud Management Associates. Recommend changes or alternate ways in fraud investigations and processing methods to allow improved operating efficiency and member service. Communicates the status and resolution of the fraud incident to the member and or reporting branch or business unit. Collaborates with cross-functional business units, to monitor transactions, conduct investigations, and implement necessary measures to maintain a strong fraud management program. Ensures that the credit union complies with state and federal regulations and laws as it relates to fraud to include Bank Secrecy Act, Identity Theft, and Elder Financial Abuse. Prepares and files reports with law enforcement and government agencies as directed by law.
