Information Technology (IT) implements, supports and maintains all systems at Hawaii Pacific Health facilities. The department encompasses the people, records and activities that process the data and information in the organization. It also codes, defines criteria, performs testing and debugging, and maintains programs in order to meet the informational needs of Hawaii Pacific Healths numerous facilities and administrative offices. It provides support to users and acts as the key liaison between the business community and vendors.
As an Ambulatory Electronic Medical Record Systems Manager, you will be responsible carrying out overall management responsibilities relating to the design, implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of ambulatory EMR applications that pertains to clinic operations. You will also ensure through the design and implementation plan, that the system will improve quality, cost, and/or overall effectiveness of services and/or operations. We are looking for someone with leadership and excellent communication skills, an appreciation for IT Systems and a commitment to creating a healthier Hawaii.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Health Care, Business, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Five (5) years of experience in functional analysis, system design and/or business applications, including two years project management experience. Five (5) years of experience supporting an Electronic Medical Record information system and/or working in a clinical setting.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working in a health-related field or clinic setting. EPIC experience preferred, especially in MyChart, Healthy Planet, Care Everywhere, & Cosmos modules.
