Job Details
Salary: $65,000 - $180,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop HVAC and plumbing systems for various building types, ensuring efficiency, sustainability, and compliance.
- Collaborate with engineering disciplines, construction managers, and clients to deliver coordinated designs.
- Utilize AutoCAD and Revit for system layouts, design drawings, and documentation.
- Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and internal system layouts.
- Assist in construction administration: review submittals and conduct on‑site inspections.
- Stay up‑to‑date with codes, standards, and regulations relevant to HVAC and plumbing design.
- Prepare clear and concise design reports, specifications, and technical documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in HVAC and plumbing design.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office Suite.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and innovative design thinking.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Licenses or certifications in mechanical engineering or HVAC design are a plus.
