We are looking for an analytical, adaptable Systems Engineer to provide essential sustainment and operational support for a highly secure, classified system that delivers services across multiple security domains, including TS/SCI networks, CTX, and SIPR. This role is crucial for ensuring the system remains operational, secure, and compliant with all relevant regulations. The engineer's primary responsibilities include managing the system's overall health, resolving incidents, and maintaining secure interoperability between the different enclaves. Additionally, the position requires close coordination with external service providers to manage data inputs for the TS/SCI and CTX networks, ensuring seamless and secure data flow. This role requires a strong understanding of complex network security and a proactive approach to system maintenance and incident resolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain operability and availability for all associated enclave services
  • Monitor system logs and event workflows across JWICS, CTX, and SIPR connections
  • Troubleshoot distribution console faults and enclave communication issues
  • Apply software patches, STIGs, and configuration updates in accordance with policy
  • Collaborate with external service providers to ensure uninterrupted CTX and JWICS data feeds
  • Support accreditation sustainment (e.g., ATO documentation, vulnerability remediation)
  • Maintain system architecture documentation and enclave-specific operational diagrams
  • Participate in enclave failover, continuity of operations (COOP), and Disaster Recovery validation activities
  • Support and communicate with military and federal civilian end users

Required Minimum Qualifications

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience overseeing security domains, including JWICS, CTX, and SIPR

Education, Certifications, and Length of Experience

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering, systems engineering or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in systems engineering, specifically in DoD/DoN environments
  • Active CompTIA Security+ certification
  • Active, relevant Operating System (OS) certification(s), highly preferred

Travel Requirements

Minimal travel up to 10% may be required.

U.S. Citizenship Requirements

Due to our contracts with the U.S. federal government and the requirement for a security clearance to perform this role, candidates for this position must be U.S. Citizens.

Clearance Type Required

Candidates must be able to maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
