Facilities Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team and help us maintain a safe, secure, and efficient work environment across our ranch. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply a broad range of maintenance skills in a dynamic setting, supporting the ongoing operations and upkeep of our facilities and assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform basic carpentry, painting, drywall, and tile repairs to maintain the integrity and appearance of facilities
  • Conduct plumbing and electrical repairs to ensure systems are functioning safely and efficiently
  • Transport ranch assets and property to various locations across the ranch, ensuring timely and secure delivery
  • Assist heavy equipment operators with rigging loads, spot checks, and material deliveries to job sites
  • Traverse remote and varied terrains on foot to access work sites and perform maintenance tasks effectively
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols and standards
  • Collaborate with team members to complete maintenance projects efficiently and effectively

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in general maintenance, construction, or related fields
  • Knowledge of carpentry, painting, drywall, tile work, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Ability to operate and assist with heavy equipment and rigging tasks
  • Strong physical stamina and ability to work in remote and outdoor environments
  • Valid driver's license and ability to transport materials safely
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills and a proactive attitude

Requirements

Minimum

  • Graduation from high school or GED equivalent; five (5) years of relevant experience, or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to do the job
  • Valid Driver's license with a good driving record and no restrictions required
  • CDL, CPR & First Aid certified preferred but not required

Preferred

  • AA degree or graduation from specialized training or formalized apprenticeship program; i.e. automotive, carpentry, building construction, electrical, plumbing, and welding.
