Base pay range

$72,491.00/yr - $99,675.00/yr

Position Function

The Software Engineer position designs and develops secure, scalable banking products, delivering innovative financial solutions across front-end and back-end systems. The role is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications that power the bank's business objectives. The engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement modern development technologies across both front-end and back-end systems, ensuring high-quality, user-focused financial applications.

Primary Accountabilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack software applications (front-end and back-end), ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Support deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of applications in cloud environments. Leverage CI/CD tools to deploy and manage platform releases.
• Participate in SDLC process including code reviews, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to maintain quality standards.
• Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, UI/UX design, and other engineers to deliver features aligned with business and user needs.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited 4‑year university, preferably in a related field.
• Experience:
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience delivering production‑grade systems.
  • Experience building modern, responsive and compliant web applications (JavaScript, Vue.js, Angular, React).
  • Experience with object‑oriented programming (OOP) principles in languages such as Golang, Java, C++, Python, or C.
  • Experience with relational (Postgres, SQL, MariaDB) and/or non‑relational databases (MongoDB, NoSQL).
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and related services.
  • Experience integrating and/or building APIs (primarily REST‑based).

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Must be able to perform light physical work and lift items up to 20 pounds.
• Must be able to operate standard office equipment, including phone, copier, and computer.
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing with internal and external customers.
• Must be able to read and understand bank‑related documents.
• Must work in a conventional office setting, sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods.
