About the Opportunity

My client, a well-established insurance and financial services organization in Honolulu, is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their Individual Life Client Relations team.

In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for customers and agents - helping policyholders with their questions, providing clear guidance, and ensuring an exceptional service experience with every interaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the frontline contact for policyholders, agents, and internal departments.
  
• Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and written correspondence.
  
• Explain policy features, benefits, billing, and statements clearly and accurately.
  
• Process policy updates, payments, and service requests with attention to detail.
  
• Research and resolve customer issues while maintaining strong follow-up and communication.
  
• Acquire and maintain comprehensive knowledge of company products and procedures.
  
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless customer service delivery.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
  
• 1+ year of customer service experience (insurance or financial services preferred).
  
• Experience in a call center or high-volume customer service environment a plus.
  
• Ability to obtain a Hawai'i State Life Insurance License within 3 months of hire.
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Excellent problem-solving, time management, and organizational abilities.
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams) and Windows applications.
  
• Adaptable, cooperative, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule & Environment

• Full-time, Monday-Friday (on-site in Honolulu).
