Position: Security Officer - Residential Community Patrols in Honolulu, HI. This is a Part-Time role. You'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and pick up open shifts, giving you freedom to build a schedule that fits your availability and gain site experience across industries. You will patrol residential areas, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to residents and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the residential location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community and its perimeter to deter potential security-related issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or potential hazards to Allied Universal and/or client representatives as required.
• Communicate professionally with residents, guests, and staff while upholding Allied Universal standards.
• Complete required reports and maintain accurate records regarding patrols, incidents, and observations.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry points and/or verifying credentials as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
