Position: Site Superintendent

Location: Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) or Scofield Barracks

Duration: 12-month Contract-to-Hire

Pay Rate: $45/hr - $52/hr ($110k/yr MAX conversion salary)


Must Haves:

  • 5+ years of project coordination/development and supervision of construction or service projects in the commercial or industrial building construction industry.
  • Knowledge of commercial or industrial HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical or Building Automation Systems (BAS)
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and basic Windows environment
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearances


Plusses:

  • Experience working with Federal Government or Department of Defense projects
  • Experience working in medical facilities- (DoD preferred)
  • Experience with ASHE standards.
  • Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Electronics or Mechanical systems, or equivalent work experience
  • OSHA 10, OSHA 30, and/or EM 385-1-1 safety certifications
  • Construction Quality Management (CQM certification) through the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers


Job description:

Our client is seeking a Site Superintendent to join their federal team based in Honolulu, HI primarily supporting work at the Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) and/or Schofield Barracks. As one of the global leaders in sustainability and energy efficiency, our client's team here primarily helps support preventative maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance (CM) and installation projects related to large building mechanical systems, building automation systems, and cybersecurity.


Day to Day:

  • Oversees field construction and maintenance of HVAC systems, building automation, and cybersecurity projects, ensuring timely, budget-conscious, and high-quality completion.
  • Manages subcontractor performance by supervising, inspecting, and reporting on-site activities across one or more projects.
  • Supports project planning and compliance, including quality control, safety enforcement, and coordination of inspections and contractual requirements.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders through regular site meetings and coordinates daily operations, resolving or escalating issues as needed.
  • Provides 24/7 on-call support and performs additional duties as required to maintain project continuity and client satisfaction.


Compensation:

$45/hr to $52/hr.


Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
