School Food Services Manager II

The Hawaii State Department of Education is seeking a School Food Services Manager II. The salary is $5,882.23 per month for this permanent, full-time 12-month position located in Waimanalo, HI 96795 at Pope Elementary.

The position requires graduation from high school or equivalent and progressively responsible work experience of the kind, quality, and quantity as described below:

Class Title: School Food Services Manager II

General Experience: Two years

Specialized Experience: Two years

Supervisory Aptitude: Required

Non-Qualifying Experience: Experience limited to serving, cleaning, ware washing, or only one phase of cooking will not be accepted.

Substitutions Allowed: Successful completion of one academic semester or equivalent in a food service program, possession of an associate's degree or equivalent in food services management, or a bachelor's degree in a related field may substitute for the required experience.

The applicant's overall experience must demonstrate the ability to perform the duties of the position.

Possession of a valid food handlers training level certification from the Hawaii Department of Health or equivalent organization is required.
