About the General Merchandise Team

The General Merchandise and Food Sales team is essential in creating a seamless shopping experience for our guests. This dynamic team manages inbound and outbound processes, ensures inventory accuracy, and maintains product presentation. They also focus on providing a fresh and food-safe experience.

As an Inbound Stocking Specialist, your role is vital in delivering a consistent experience for guests. You will gain valuable knowledge in

• Guest service fundamentals, fostering a guest-first culture.
• Retail business essentials, including inventory management and sales trends.
• Executing daily tasks to achieve business goals and sales targets.

Your typical day will include:

• Welcoming guests with a friendly greeting.
• Observing guests to determine their needs and engaging them genuinely.
• Utilizing your product knowledge to enhance the guest experience.
• Accurately sorting and stocking products efficiently.
• Maintaining inventory levels on the sales floor for General Merchandise categories.
• Safely operating power equipment, if certified.
• Managing environmental and safety-related items according to regulations.
• Working collaboratively to support guest services such as cashing and order pick up.
• Adapting to changing business needs as required.

• Ability to focus and stay composed in a busy environment.

Additional Requirements:

• Accurate cash handling skills.
• Ability to climb ladders as needed.
• Capable of lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds.
• Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to work in various temperatures and conditions.
• Maintain mobility throughout your shift.
