JOB SUMMARY:
Become an essential part of the foodservice supply chain by working in a Sysco warehouse. As a Warehouse Order Picker, you will help pick orders for delivery to local foodservice venues.

• Engage in an active, physical role utilizing an electric pallet jack and/or forklift.

• Organize and palletize products to efficiently build customer orders.

• Perform other assigned tasks as needed.

Enjoy a safe working environment with conditions that may vary in temperature and humidity depending on the products being handled (e.g., non-refrigerated, refrigerated, and frozen items).

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• No previous relevant work experience required (0 - 1 year is acceptable).

• Ability to frequently lift products weighing between 10lbs and 75lbs, with the possibility of lifting up to 100lbs.

• Capability to reach up to 72 inches regularly.

• Comfortable bending and twisting while operating an electric pallet jack or forklift to retrieve products from bottom shelf areas.

• Willingness to work in very cold environments (cooler and/or freezer).

• Ability to stand on your feet for 10 - 12 hours each day.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

• 1 year of experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift.

• 1 year of experience in a warehouse, military, or physically demanding job.

• 1 year of selection experience.

• Consistent work history of 2 years is preferred.
