Position

First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Controls Assurance Analyst. The Senior Cybersecurity Controls Assurance Analyst is a key member of the IT Governance & Compliance team, responsible for ensuring that FHB's IT and cybersecurity controls are effective, well-documented, and compliant with internal policies and external regulations. This role involves leading controls testing, conducting risk assessments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to mature the overall controls environment for FHB. The role will report to the Cybersecurity Controls Assurance Manager and work with a dynamic IT Governance and Compliance team to ensure the resiliency of critical controls against a range of operationally disruptive scenarios as part of the enterprise-wide security controls assurance program. The individual in this critical role will build relationships across the Bank with technical leads and business partners, understand technology stacks and designs, and support oversight programs over controls assurance, change management, and IT asset management in support of IT and cyber governance practices at FHB.

Hours

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM (Work hours may vary)

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $73,800 - $86,100 per year; commensurate with experience. The successful candidate will be hired for the level of the position that aligns with their experience.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems (MIS), engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience required
• Five or more years of experience in information technology, cybersecurity, governance and risk management, or combination of equivalent experience and education required
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional, ISACA Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), or comparable security certification desired
• Working knowledge of FFIEC IT examination, GLBA Information Security Standards and SOX 404 requirements
• Experience performing security controls assessments against frameworks (e.g., NIST SP800-53, CIS Top 20) required
• Experience with identifying and presenting security controls deficiencies to technical and non-technical audiences required
• Experience implementing and managing governance and risk management processes and workflows preferred
• Able to plan, organize and budget
• Good written and verbal communication with demonstrable experience collaborating with technically oriented as well as business audiences
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
• Able to handle confidential matters judiciously
• Possesses attention to detail with excellent follow-through
• Able to work under pressure with multiple deadlines
• Good time management skills
