Scale AI is seeking a highly skilled Mission Software Engineer to join our Federal Engineering team. You will support Scale's government customers by scoping and developing onsite solutions, designing and implementing systems that integrate with existing customer workflows and interactions with customer systems.
Compensation packages at Scale for eligible roles include base salary, equity, and benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position, determined by work location and additional factors, including skills, experience, interview performance, and education or training. Scale employees in eligible roles are also granted equity-based compensation, subject to Board approval. You will receive benefits including comprehensive health, dental and vision coverage, a learning and development stipend, and generous PTO. This role may be eligible for additional benefits such as a commuter stipend.

Washington DC, Texas, Colorado: 165,600 — 263,304
Hawaii/St. Louis: 138,000 — 219,420
