Overview

Multimedia Advertising Account Executive – Pacific Business News. Total compensation includes base + uncapped commission. We offer guaranteed commission at a minimum the first 3 months with competitive benefits. This position will be hybrid in the office/market 3 days per week, with those days flexible in consultation with your manager.

As an Account Executive, you will create and maximize revenue generation. You will foster and grow relationships with high-target prospects and valued clients while working in collaboration with your local and corporate-based teams. You will work with market leaders and trailblazers who rely on us to deliver news and information that impacts their business. You will have a seat at the table with the business community's most influential and affluent professionals. We are looking for individuals who are driven to succeed and value high expectations. Responsibilities

  • Continually prospect and generate high-quality targets using our sales process
  • Meet key performance metrics and goals on a weekly/monthly and annual basis
  • Actively diversify the client base by offering strategic solutions with a viable revenue mix
  • Develop and present customized advertising solutions
  • Effectively manage sales pipeline and revenue gaps using Salesforce
  • Develop market intelligence and business acumen
  • Cultivate relationships within the business community through networking and attendance at Business Journal events
  • Demonstrate a coachable mindset and participate in training and development

Qualifications

  • Two years of sales experience preferred; recent graduates considered
  • Strong orientation to strategic thinking, communication, influencing and relationship-building
  • Ability to manage short- and long-term opportunities simultaneously
  • Strong organizational, analytical and written/oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a changing environment
  • Team player who collaborates across departments and levels
  • College degree or comparable work experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, OneDrive, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams)

Compensation: $90K - $110K+ (base + uncapped commission earning potential).
