We're seeking a Senior HVAC Facilities Director in Honolulu, HI to lead enterprise-level service operations, optimize building system performance, and drive strategic growth across facilities. Impact

  • Oversee multi-site HVAC service delivery across commercial and institutional facilities.
  • Lead teams in achieving operational excellence, client satisfaction, and financial targets.
  • Optimize maintenance strategies and capital planning for HVAC and mechanical assets.
  • Build infrastructure to scale service delivery and workforce development.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, safety, and environmental performance across all locations.
Responsibilities
  • Direct day-to-day operations of the HVAC service division, including field teams, dispatch, and technical support.
  • Develop and manage departmental P&L; ensure revenue growth, cost control, and target margins.
  • Lead facilities strategy for preventive maintenance, system reliability, and energy efficiency.
  • Partner with executive leadership on strategic planning, capital improvement, and workforce scaling.
  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management for technical staff.
  • Drive compliance with local / state codes, OSHA, and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain vendor relationships, service agreements, and procurement standards.
  • Implement KPI-driven management systems to monitor field productivity and client satisfaction.
  • Lead safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives across service operations.
  • Serve as senior point of contact for high-value client relationships and strategic accounts.
Requirements Must-Haves
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership in commercial HVAC service or facilities operations.
  • Proven experience managing large technical teams and multi-site operations.
  • Strong financial acumen with direct P&L ownership.
  • EPA Universal Certification and valid driver's license.
  • Deep understanding of building systems, energy management, and preventive maintenance programs.
Nice-to-Haves
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or facilities management.
  • OSHA 30 or other safety certifications.
  • Experience with CMMS and service management software.
  • Hawaii licensure or familiarity with state / local codes.
