Leidos is searching for licensed behavioral health professionals to join our Military and Family Life Counselor (MFLC) Child and Youth Behavioral team. This is a 9-month school calendar position aligned with the school schedule you will support.

The Child and Youth Behavioral Military and Family Life Counselor (CYB-MFLC) role is a unique opportunity to provide essential non-medical support through counseling, consultation, and outreach to eligible faculty, staff, parents, children, and youth. Our non-medical counseling approach is preventative, focusing on addressing issues proactively, before they escalate into greater challenges.
Military children experience distinct emotional and environmental hurdles due to the stress of military life. This role allows you to reach them at critical moments when your support is most important.

Work Environment:
Duties are performed in a mix of indoor (approximately 60%) and outdoor (approximately 40%) settings. Indoor tasks occur within school environments governed by the state and/or Department of Defense Education Activity. Outdoor responsibilities involve navigating uneven terrain, stairs, and exposure to various weather conditions.
Licensure Portability:
Under the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), licensed Military and Family Life Counselors are authorized to provide counseling services to military families in any U.S. state or territory, regardless of where they are licensed. A counselor may possess any independent and clinical license recognized for the provision of non-medical counseling services.

Pay Range: Pay Range $57,850.00 - $104,575.00
