Responsibilities include day-to-day maintenance and minor repairs for the property, common areas, and other facilities, including performance of community maintenance work. Work should be performed independently. General supervision is provided by the Community Manager.

Knowledge/Experience/Core Competencies: Any combination of education and experience that results in the following:
Use of equipment: A cell phone or walkie talkie will be used to communicate with the management team while the maintenance person is on property. Small hand and/or power tools will be necessary to complete certain assigned tasks. Property provides all equipment, tools necessary to perform the above tasks. Use of all mechanical/electrical equipment on the property, as permitted.
Education and Training: High School graduate or equivalent. CPO certification preferred.
Working Conditions: Able to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays as necessary for emergency situations. The position may involve working irregular hours. Work schedule may vary according to property related emergencies. This role includes some physical elements such as climbing ladders, climbing stairs, lifting, carrying, and moving objects that can weigh up to 50 pounds. Use of Leaf Blowers and Snow Blowers are included in the physical elements. This position will alternate between working indoors in a controlled climate and with proper lighting, to an outdoors setting with variable climate and lighting.
