Hr Generalist Position

We are looking for a dedicated HR Generalist to oversee and enhance our human resources operations in Wahiawa, Hawaii. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the HR department operates efficiently while supporting employees and promoting a positive work environment. This role is essential to driving organizational success through effective HR practices and employee satisfaction. Responsibilities include administering and managing employee compensation and benefits programs to ensure compliance and employee satisfaction. Support the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new team members. Organize and implement training and development programs to foster growth and attention to detail. Address employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and leave, resolving concerns in a timely manner. Develop and promote HR initiatives aimed at maintaining a positive and productive workplace. Assist in drafting, implementing, and updating human resource policies and procedures. Monitor and manage performance evaluations, including organizing quarterly and annual reviews. Maintain accurate employee records in both digital and physical formats. Analyze HR metrics, such as employee turnover rates and time-to-fill, to improve HR processes. Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations while recommending improvements to HR practices.

Requirements include proven experience as an HR Generalist, with at least 2 years in a similar role. Comprehensive understanding of human resources policies, procedures, and best practices. Strong knowledge of employment and labor laws to ensure compliance. Proficiency in Office applications; familiarity with HR systems such as PeopleSoft is advantageous. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to address and resolve workplace issues effectively. Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented mindset. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field. Additional HR certifications or training are considered a plus.
