Position Information: $68,640 to $114,600. The base salary range represents a good faith salary range for this position. This position is eligible for annual incentive pay and has the opportunity for continued salary growth. If you are hired at American Water your base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as market, geography, skills, education, and experience. Primary Role: Leads multiple operations or programs to continually meet all applicable environmental regulations. Provides technical knowledge and guidance on wastewater treatment, permitting, regulatory compliance reporting, and corrective actions. Responsible for organizing advanced functions and activities related to environmental management and wastewater compliance management for assigned facilities. Administers programs to ensure compliance with all wastewater and environmental regulations including wastewater permit adherence, NPDES permit reporting and adherence, SWPPP reporting and compliance, hazardous material and waste management, and air resources management. Responsible for internal staff training regarding environmental compliance and permit adherence. Assists in resolving wastewater treatment issues.
