Primary PurposeTo be responsible for the profitable, ethical, and scientific investigation of events, systems, devices, and/or failures; to provide expert opinions, and to decide the proper course of action on investigations and report reviews for assigned cases.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required. Professional Engineering (PE) license is required in the resident state.
Experience• Eight (8) years of experience or equivalent combination of experience and education required.
Skills & KnowledgeMental – Clear and conceptual thinking ability; excellent judgment and discretion; ability to handle work-related stress; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously; and ability to meet deadlines.
Physical – Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time, kneel, squat or bend, work outdoors in hot and/or cold weather conditions, climb, crawl, stoop, kneel, reach/working overhead, lift/carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 100 pounds, drive up to 4 hours per day.
Auditory/Visual – Hearing, vision and talking.

As required by law, Sedgwick provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in jurisdictions requiring pay transparency in job postings. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and cost of specific location. For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is $155,000-$180,000. A comprehensive benefits package is offered including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, 401k and matching, PTO, disability and life insurance, employee assistance, flexible spending or health savings account, and other additional voluntary benefits.
