How the Program Works:As an apprentice, you'll participate in a structured 3-5 year program that combines on-the-job training with related classroom instruction in one of the above mentioned trades. Under the terms of an apprentice agreement, the City provides supervised on-the-job training, and you'll agree to work and attend community college courses to learn the trade.
