Construction Surveillance Technician (CST)
Aloha! One of Hawaii's DOD prime contracting companies is seeking a Construction Surveillance Technician (CST). The CST's primary function is to provide day to day security in support of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) & Special Access Program (SAP) construction efforts. Additional duties include:
- Assessing, identifying, and communicating recommendations for improvements of policies, procedures, or systems.
- Identifying threats, vulnerabilities, and potential risks.
- Drafting security incident reports and briefing government and civilian agencies including military senior leaders.
- Managing uniformed escort personnel and associated logs; assigning, training, briefing site security duties and ensuring timely reporting of security incidents to site lead.
- Following and enforcing customers' Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Performing miscellaneous administrative support functions as directed by the contractor site lead and/or the Senior Security Representative.
- Conducting inspections of materials being delivered for utilization in construction of secure spaces.
- Photographing and continuously monitoring the construction of secure spaces and documenting all steps in order to support final accreditation packets.
Additional Qualifications:
- 12 years related experience.
- Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) counts towards 3 years of experience.
- Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) counts towards 5 years of experience.
- Maximum equivalent experience for SPED Certifications is no more than 5 years.
- Knowledgeable on Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 (on SCIFs and compliance with uniform IC physical and technical security requirements).
- Education: Bachelor's degree is desired and counts towards 4 years of experience. Associates degree counts towards 2 years of experience.
Requirements:
- He/she must already possess at TS or TS/SCI clearance; once in role, will get upgraded to SCI and SCI Poly.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $37.80 - $37.80/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
