Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated Carpenter Helper to join our SageWater team in Oahu, Hawaii. This role supports experienced carpenters on interior finishing projects for high-rise condo repiping and renovations. The Carpenter Helper will assist the team, keep the job site safe and organized, and learn carpentry skills. This is a full-time hourly position based at the job site and reports to the Project Lead.

Base pay range

$22.00/hr - $30.00/hr

About THIS OPPORTUNITY

As a Carpenter Helper, you will assist experienced carpenters on interior finishing projects for high-rise condo repiping and renovations. Your primary focus is supporting the team, maintaining a safe and organized job site, and learning carpentry skills. This position offers hands-on experience, meaningful work, and long-term career growth. The Carpenter Helper role requires the ability to work carefully, communicate effectively, follow safety protocols, and maintain a professional appearance. This role is full-time, hourly, based at the job site, reports to the Project Lead, and collaborates with the onsite team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist carpenters with measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing wood and other materials
• Lift and move materials as needed by the carpentry team (50-100 lbs regularly)
• Help maintain safe, clean, and organized job sites
• Perform demo and removal of old materials as directed
• Take out trash and perform general site support

Key Requirements

• 1-3 years of carpentry experience (finish carpentry preferred; rough or punch-out also considered)
• Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
• Able to lift 50-100 lbs regularly
• Own basic carpentry hand tools
• 18+ years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Pass background check and drug screening
• Reliable transportation to job sites
• Must already reside in the state of Hawaii

Salary Range: $22 - $30 per hour based upon experience and qualifications
