Plans, organizes, coordinates and manages the social work services of an operational unit or directs a social work program of limited scope and complexity. The position is located in the Domestic Violence Criminal Misdemeanor/ Felony Probation Unit within the Supervision II Section of the Adult Client Services Branch, First Circuit. It is responsible for overseeing a team of probation officers who manage cases involving offenders convicted of intimate partner domestic violence. The position includes planning, coordinating, and supervising daily operations of the unit, including case assignments, workload distribution, staff training and evaluation, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. It ensures timely and quality services to the courts, promotes evidence-based practices to reduce recidivism, and maintains accurate records across offender management systems.
