Technical Sales Representative – Downstream

What You Will Do
- Coach and train other District Representatives, champion corporate initiatives, and lead portions of District Meetings.
- Generate and execute sales plans to close new opportunities within existing customer base and in competitively held accounts, meeting defined territory profit increase goals.
- Work closely with large, strategic current and prospective customers to understand needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that maintain and grow sales.
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, including plant or facility executives.
- Perform system analysis, interpret data, and provide written recommendations ensuring optimal customer operations.
- Stabilize jeopardy business in large strategic accounts.
Position Details
- Must reside within a commutable distance from Kapolei, HI (20 minutes from HNL airport).
- Territory covers a 20‑mile radius around the island.
- Targeted accounts are within the downstream/refinery market.
- ≈ 10 % overnight travel required for training.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5 years of technical sales or field sales support experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Immigration sponsorship not available.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or life sciences.
- Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience.
- Knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems.

Compensation
$115,400 – $173,000 base salary plus target incentive. Compensation is based on experience, education, training, geography, and performance.
