Admin Clerk (Part-Time)

Location: Kapolei, HI
Pay Rate: $17/hour (Paid Weekly)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Hours: Part-time (between 19 to 38 hours/week)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Maritime Data Entry Clerk to support our Maritime Project Manager with administrative and data-entry responsibilities. This is a part-time role designed to provide behind-the-scenes support to ensure smooth project tracking, equipment documentation, and quote entry.

This position is strictly administrative and does not involve responsibility for billing accuracy, project approvals, or field coordination. If you enjoy focused work, have strong attention to detail, and thrive in structured environments - this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately input job data, quotes, and line items into SafQuote and STS systems as directed by the Project Manager

  • Maintain and update Excel-based project trackers, detailing man-hours, equipment usage, and scope of work

  • Assist in preparing Schedules of Values (SOVs) for internal review and approval

  • Enter daily productivity data received from field crews into systems, ensuring alignment with PM-provided data

  • Support administrative tasks related to project setup, equipment logs, and job closeout documentation

  • Archive completed jobs in STS once approved for closure

  • Keep digital records up-to-date and well-organized for all maritime projects

  • Maintain clear communication with the Project Manager and internal departments regarding status updates and data requests

  • Assist with other clerical or administrative duties assigned by the Project Manager or Branch Manager

Position Reports To:
  • Maritime Project Manager

  • Supports the Maritime Division and Billing Department

Accountability: This position is strictly administrative. All billing, approvals, and project outcomes are handled by management and are not the responsibility of this role.

Qualifications:
  • Strong attention to detail; able to handle repetitive data entry tasks with accuracy

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

  • Ability to quickly learn internal systems like STS and SafQuote

  • Organized and dependable with strong communication skills

  • Prior administrative experience in construction, industrial, or maritime environments is preferred
