Job Summary:

As a key member of our LOE program, you will provide essential support to our customer's Operations organization by developing cutting-edge solutions tailored to their mission needs. Our approach includes rapid prototyping, innovative technology research, and analytic development initiatives, constantly seeking new data sources and methodologies to address complex intelligence questions. We are looking for a motivated Lead Network Systems Engineer to enhance Enterprise Discovery Operations. In this role, you'll collaborate with a team to identify and optimize access opportunities to challenging and secure targets and networks. Your objective will be to operationalize diverse data sources for improved SIGINT and Cyber mission support.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  • Utilize your extensive experience in managing large-scale corporate or government networks to inform capability enhancement.
  • Analyze metadata and configuration files to accurately document and baseline network architecture.
  • Monitor target network modernization and provide assessments of potential impacts and vulnerabilities.
  • Facilitate efficient data exploitation, collection, and analysis while developing automation scripts as required.
  • Collaborate with DoD customers and network engineers to implement network design modifications and resolve issues.
  • Interpret and present network designs in both technical and simplified formats.
  • Ensure system compliance with thorough knowledge of STE/STN and RMF.
  • Troubleshoot network performance, analyze traffic, and provide capacity planning solutions.
  • Assess complex firewall security zones and policies, converting them among various vendor devices as necessary.
  • Employ security tools (e.g., Nessus, NMAP) to detect vulnerabilities and weaknesses.

What Sets You Apart:

  • Bachelor's degree plus eleven (11) years of relevant experience, or a master's degree plus nine (9) years of experience, or associate's degree plus thirteen (13) years of experience, or a high school diploma with fifteen (15) years of experience may be considered.
  • A degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields is required.
  • Experience must encompass computer system design, programming, information security, vulnerability analysis, and network/system administration.
  • Security Clearance Requirement: Must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph to be considered for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expert knowledge of TCP/IP network architecture.
  • Demonstrated expertise in networking within virtualized environments.
  • In-depth understanding of computer security principles, including penetration testing and tool development.

Pay Range: Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00
