The position is assigned to the Human Resources Unit #3 which is located in the First Circuit, Administrative Services Division, and Human Resource Branch. The Human Resources Unit #3 is responsible for providing employee development for First Circuit employees.
The position assists the Court Services Manager in developing, coordinating, and implementing projects and activities focusing on employee development, engagement and retention. In addition this position evaluates current operations to develop, implement, and recommend modifications to guidelines, policies, standards and work methods necessary for effective and efficient operations with new human resources programs and procedures.
Education Requirement: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bacheloru2019s degree. Progressively responsible experience in administrative, professional, investigative, technical or other responsible work which has provided a general background of the type and quality described below may be substituted for the Bacheloru2019s degree on a year-for-year basis.
Specialized Experience: Two and one-half (2-1/2) years of progressively responsible professional work experience in one or combination of the following:
Administrative Aptitude: Administrative aptitude rather than actual administrative experience is accepted. Administrative aptitude will be considered to have been met for this level when there is strong evidence of the necessary administrative aptitudes and abilities. Such evidence may be in the form of success in regular or special assignments or projects which involve administrative problems (e.g., planning, organizing, promoting and directing a program providing staff advice and assistance); interest in management demonstrated by the performance of work assignments in a manner which clearly indicates awareness of problems and the ability to solve them; completion of educational or training courses in the areas of management accompanied by the application of principles, which were learned, to work assignments; managementu2019s observation and evaluation of the applicantu2019s leadership and managerial capabilities; or success in trial assignments to managerial and/or administrative tasks.
