Join our team as an Energy Efficiency Advisor, where you will play a vital role in empowering communities to meet clean energy targets. Our program has been helping families and businesses for over 15 years to make informed energy choices that lead to significant long-term benefits. Your contributions will aid in achieving our ambitious goal of 100% clean energy by 2045.

Your primary challenge will be to support the implementation of energy efficiency initiatives through a collaborative approach with businesses. By building strong relationships and providing valuable insights, you will help our customers overcome obstacles and embrace energy-efficient solutions.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted advisor for commercial clients interested in energy efficiency and conservation strategies.
  • Become knowledgeable about our programs, processes, and the latest trends in energy-efficient technologies.
  • Work directly with clients to identify energy-saving opportunities through site assessments and data analysis.
  • Promote our initiatives by connecting with clients, contractors, and industry stakeholders to foster engagement.
  • Collaborate internal teams and external partners to tackle participation barriers in energy efficiency programs.
  • Deliver informative training sessions and presentations on energy programs and incentives to various audiences.
  • Utilize customer relationship management tools to track project progress and maintain customer engagement.
  • Perform necessary inspections to ensure compliance for energy efficiency project incentives.
  • Be prepared for occasional travel and possible evening or weekend engagements at community events.
  • Complete other relevant duties as assigned.

What Makes You Stand Out:

  • A bachelor's degree with at least two years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
  • A foundational understanding of the energy sector, with a commitment to becoming an expert.
  • Strong communication skills that allow you to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.
  • A client-focused mindset with proven skills in building and nurturing professional relationships.
  • A proactive, self-motivated individual able to manage multiple projects efficiently.
  • A valid driver's license and vehicle for required client meetings and site visits.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A degree in Engineering or a related science field.
  • A genuine passion for the clean energy mission and future initiatives.
  • Experience in energy modeling or simulation development.
  • Relevant certifications such as CEM or LEED AP.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions like pivot tables.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce for customer relationship management.
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
