The Department of Facility Maintenance (DFM), Public Building and Electrical Maintenance Division, is seeking a Lead Electrician-Electronic Equipment Repairer in Honolulu. Under the general supervision of the Electrician-Electronic Equipment Repair Supervisor, this position:
Supervises and participates in the installation, maintenance and repair of a wide variety of electrical systems, wiring systems, equipment and appurtenances for all facilities under the jurisdiction of the Department of Facility Maintenance.
Will work Monday to Friday from 6:50 a.m. to 3:20 p.m.
Will be assigned to service locations that will be subject to applicable state and federal laws in order to access the facilities.
Ensures subordinates and self adhere to applicable safety practices, rules, and procedures, and performs all duties in a safe and acceptable manner to ensure the safety of self, co-workers, and the general public.
Performs other related duties as required.

Access to the USN Whitmore Naval Station requires a federal background check. Therefore, the selectee will be required to be fingerprinted as part of their employment suitability review. The Department of Human Resources will review fingerprint-based state and national criminal history record information from the Hawaii Criminal Justice Data Center and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
