Under the supervision ofthe director of. Ka. Ulu Hoi:Assist with the writing, editing, and publication of Kawaihuelani's monthly online newspaper. Work with the director to proof read and edit submissions prior to publication. Upload completed articles each month to the Ka Ulu Hoi website and social media accounts, and update these pages as necessary. Acquire pictures for each article published, as needed. Meet with student-writers of the newspaper, both individually and in groups as necessary, to plan, develop, and improve their submissions to the paper. Contribute one original article to each issue of Ka Ulu Hoi published during the GA's tenure. Under the supervision of the director, conduct research that will enhance the mentorship of student-writers. Other duties ,as assigned by the director. Minimum Qualifications:Full time Graduate Student in good standing. BA in Hawaiian language.
