Job Details

Performs tasks necessary for work order, service order, repair activity, and network transformation associated with copper and fiber network facilities from central office frames and fiber distribution panels to customer serving terminals. Performs other related, marginal duties as required. General Duties: Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Receives daily assignments from and is directly responsible to a supervisor Installs, maintains, rearranges, troubleshoots, repairs, and removes fiber and copper cables, terminals, and other associated apparatus in the outside plant network Splices, terminates, connects, cuts off and removes cables, cross-connects, fiber distribution hubs, terminals, station service drops and wires, cross-connect wires, splitters and tails, fiber management apparatus, pressure pipes and tubings, blocks, frames, protectors, carrier repeaters, flowraters, pressure manifolds, transducers, dams, load coils, capacitors, build-out lattices, amplifiers...Splicer, Cable, Customer Service, Technician, Equipment, Network, Retail
