Job Description: Home Health Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role involves providing specialized nursing care and related services to assigned patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Medical Doctor (MD). The responsibilities include participating in patient care planning, performing treatments adhering to established aseptic practices, and providing functional direction to ancillary personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver high-quality nursing care tailored to the specific needs of patients.
- Participate in the planning and execution of patient care strategies.
- Utilize aseptic techniques when performing treatments, including sterile dressings, irritations, and cauterizations.
- Supervise and provide guidance to ancillary staff to ensure efficient patient care delivery.
- Ensure compliance with established policies and regulations regarding patient care.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 1 year of Home Health experience is required.
- Must have prior travel nursing experience.
- Valid Hawaii nursing license is required.
- Active and clear driver's license with current auto insurance is required.
- Familiarity with Homecare Home Base and OASIS documentation is essential.
- COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are required; declinations will not be accepted.
- Arrhythmia certification is preferred.

Work Schedule:

- Day shift: 8 hours per day, 40 hours guaranteed each week.
- Rotating weekend coverage is needed (approximately 2-3 weekends per month).

Mileage Reimbursement:

- Mileage will be reimbursed at $0.43 per mile.

Location and Travel:

- Coverage area includes Oahu, including Honolulu, Aiea, Pearl City, Mililani, and Wahiawa.
- Candidates are advised to secure accommodations in central Oahu (Aiea or Pearl City).

Licensing Information:

- Hawaii is not a walk-through state.
- Temporary licenses take approximately 15-20 business days to obtain and are valid for 90 days.
- Permanent licenses also take about 15-20 business days for processing.
- It is essential to apply within 30 days of fingerprinting for timely licensure.
