Overview

Hawai‘i Pacific Health is a not-for-profit health care network with over 70 locations statewide. The Analytics & Management department forms part of the HealthAdvantage Support Services group, providing essential population utilization and financial management support, analyses and modeling for Hawai‘i Pacific Health and its affiliates. The department also collaborates with the managed care services department to provide referral management, patient steerage, and claims auditing. This role develops and applies methods to provide analytics and reporting services to support population health management, quality and cost initiatives for Hawai‘i Pacific Health hospitals, clinics and other entities including Hawai‘i Health Partners. It analyzes, reviews, trends and projects Hawai‘i Health Partners key metrics and supports the development of new programs to ensure viability of Hawai‘i Health Partners.

Responsibilities

• Under the general direction of the Department Director or designee, develops and applies methods to provide analytics and reporting services to support population health management, quality and cost initiatives for Hawai‘i Pacific Health hospitals, clinics and other entities including Hawai‘i Health Partners.
• Analyzes, reviews, trends and projects Hawai‘i Health Partners key metrics.
• Supports the development of new programs and makes recommendations to ensure viability of Hawai‘i Health Partners.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Finance or Business related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Two (2) to three (3) years of experience working with healthcare analytics and/or financial reporting.
• Demonstrated experience in supporting or maintaining information systems and/or electronic health records.
• Demonstrated extensive experience utilizing a variety of reporting tools to extract data and prepare ad hoc reports.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Excel, Access and SQL programming.
