Human Resources Recruiter

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Recruiter to join an Educational Organization in Honolulu, Hawaii. In this long-term contract role, you will play a pivotal part in managing full-cycle recruitment processes to attract and secure top talent for the organization. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate closely with various departments while ensuring a seamless recruitment experience for candidates. Preference will be given to Oahu residents due to the nature of this opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute full-cycle recruiting efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new team members.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with universities and other talent pipelines to enhance recruitment strategies.
  • Post job openings on appropriate platforms and monitor applicant responses.
  • Conduct thorough interviews to assess candidate qualifications and alignment with organizational values.
  • Represent the organization at career fairs and networking events to build employer brand visibility.
  • Oversee onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition into the company.
  • Utilize applicant tracking systems to streamline recruitment processes and maintain detailed records.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective job descriptions.
  • Stay updated on market trends to refine recruitment strategies and improve hiring outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of recent, hands-on experience in recruiting or HR.
  • Proficiency in full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Familiarity with corporate recruiting practices and strategies.
  • Strong experience working with applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct effective interviews and assess candidate qualifications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Associates degree or higher in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
