( - denotes essential functions): - Serve as the Head of Digital Preservation and oversee the digitization and digital preservation activities of Uluulu: The Henry Kuualoha Giugni Moving Image Archive of Hawaii. - Oversee the daily operations of the digital video preservation lab including management and maintenance of digitizing computer workstations, analog video and digital video equipment racks and signal flow. - Develop and implement digital preservation strategy, digitization procedures and workflows according to the archival industry best practices. - Directly supervise Media Specialist staff to ensure all work is in accordance with Uluulu's digital preservation policies and procedures. - Provide oversight and management of Uluulu's digital preservation server, cloud-based file storage, local hard drives, and LTO data backup. - Ensure long term digital preservation master file integrity through regular system file checks and ongoing communication with UHWO IT, UHITS, and...Media, Digital, Reservation, Specialist, Software, Management, Business Services
