Calling all Civil Engineers! The Department of Environmental Services (ENV), Environmental Quality Division, is seeking to fill a vacant Civil Engineer III position located at Kapolei Hale. This position performs professional engineering work under general supervision and/or assists higher-level engineers with more difficult assignments related to National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permits, Underground Injection Control (UIC) permits, water quality monitoring, air permits, and other functions of the Monitoring & Compliance Branch. What You'll Do. Gather data from various sources (e.g., fence line monitoring, and well testing) and prepare correspondence, reports, and permit applications to comply with permit requirements.
