Performs therapeutic counseling and allied rehabilitative services of a simple nature in accordance with defined policies and procedures and specific supervisory instructions, for juveniles requiring temporary shelter in a non-secured facility; interviews juveniles to obtain background and other pertinent information; assists in the investigation, evaluation, and assessment of the juveniles background; makes recommendations on referrals to standard community resources and on treatment/rehabilitation; prepares case records and reports; and performs other duties as required.
